The vehicles dashboard used to be a neat and tidy place but with the desire for ever cheaper satellite navigation increasing, things have now become overly messy... Reach your destination with precision and comfort Navigate stress-free with advanced search functions, clear graphics, and ultra high-speed processing that provides it all with the quick response you can only expect from an HDD (Hard Disk Drive) based car navigation system. Any destination, wherever it may be in Europe, is calculated in less than 3 seconds! Needless to say, once navigation has begun, the speed of calculating changes or diversions ensure you will no longer have to wait for possible new routes to be calculated whilst driving. And since it's a hideaway unit that's only 28 mm thick, you can mount it under a seat or wherever it will fit in the car and connect it to your AV system display.

The voice control function uses a high-performance speech recognition engine to provide control by natural speech, much like a conversation. TMC Receive instant traffic information through the built-in TMC receiver. The MAP780 / MAP680 can receive toll-free traffic information (TMC). You are always informed whenever new information is broadcast.

Traffic Cameras If local legislation allows use of such information, this function gives you the possibility to download data from the Internet and display the position of traffic cameras and relevant speed limits*.

Speed Limit Display The maps contain information about the current speed limit of the road segment when data is available. The Clarion navi unit is able to warn you if you exceed the current limit. This setting lets you decide whether you wish to receive the warnings or not. Also, you can set the tolerance level of the speed warning.

Lane Information Besides standard navigation information, the MAP780 / 680 also provides lane information whenever the road ahead is considered confusing. You can then anticipate better which lane to take to reach your destination.
